Blog Assignment # 9

 Blog Assignment # 9:    I would like to write about some famous movie and television stars.  The first star is Bugs Bunny.  According http://www.worldbookonline.com/pl/forkids/Bugs Bunny was a famous animated rabbit. He was created by the Warnor Brothers Studio in the 1930's. Bugs Bunny talks with a Brooklyn accent. No matter what dangers Bugs Bunny faced, he was often shown eating a carrot.  Bugs Bunny is also known for his greeting "Whats up doc?". Bugs Bunny was also known for fighting with other characters such as Elmer Fudd, Yosemite Sam, and even Daffy Duck. Bugs Bunny was developed in 1936 by a group of artists at Warnor Brothers Studio. The voice of Bugs Bunny was Mel Blanc.
                                      Next, I would like to write about another famous character, Donald Duck.  Donald Duck was created by Walt Disney. According to http://www.worldbookonline.com/pl/forkids/ Donald Duck first made his apperance on a show called The Wise Little Hen.  By 1937 Donald Duck was starring in his own cartoon.  Donald Duck appeared in about 125 cartoons from the 1930's to the 1950's.  He also appeared in a comic strip in 1936 and a monthly comic book beginning in 1943. The cartoons and comics also included Donald Ducks girlfriend ,Daisy Duck, the comics also included his nephews Huey, Dewey, and louie and they also included Donald Ducks stingy uncle, Scrooge McDuck.  Donald appeared in four Disney motion pictures during the 1940's, Saludos Amigos (1943), The Three Caballeros (1945), Fun and Fancy Free (1947) and Melody Time (1948).
                                      The third famous person I would like to talk about is Mickey Mouse.  According to http://www.worldbookonline.com/pl/forkids/ Mickey Mouse is one of the most famous cartoon characters in history.  The American movie producer Walt Disney introduced Mickey in several short films in 1928.  By the 1930's Mickey was famous in the United States and other countries.  Mickey first appeared on Screen on November 18.1928 in Steamboat Willie. Walt Disney himself provided Mickeys high-pitched voice.  Mickey Mouse starred in 118 cartoons through 1953.  Other characters in the Mickey Mouse cartoons included his girlfriend, Minnie Mouse and  his pet dog Pluto.  Mickey Mouse also starred in a popular children's television show called "The Mickey Mouse Club House" from 1955 to 1959.  Two later versions of the show ran in 1977 and 1978 and from 1989 to 1995.
                                         The last star I would like to talk about is Superman.  According to http://www.worldbookonline.com/pl/forkids/  Superman is a famous comic book superhero who fights crime with the aid of amazing powers.  Some of these powers are X-ray vision, incredible strength, and the ability to fly. The character was created by Jerry Siegel and artist, Joe Shuster in 1933. Superman first appeared in an action comic book in 1938. Superman was born on Planet Krypton.  When he was a baby he was sent to earth in a rocket ship. An american couple with the last name of Kent adopted Superman and named him Clark.  He got a day job as a news paper sales man.  When he was needed to fight crime he would secretly change into into his Superman costume: a blue bodysuit, red trunks, and a red cape.  Superman's popularity led to a Superman comic strip, radio serial, and several television series and motion pictures.
